Earn that Swagger 4.0: Employing Best (Evidence-based) Practices in Difficult and Failed Airway Management
This ½ day intensive program in difficult and failed airway management was designed by senior faculty of The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ for advanced providers at CCTMC. The program starts with a brief research & best practices update and then addresses complex airway cases. The class is dedicated to advanced airway skills labs, where attendees will engage with the airway management of the obese patient, the surgical airway (cutting through simulated skin), the SALAD technique (with a realistic contaminated airway) and optimizing patients using foundational techniques. This course, which is hosted by the ASTNA, is ideal for critical care providers who want to ensure they are employing best (evidence-based) practices. This event is a Pre-conference workshop held prior to the Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference. Register today as space is limited!
